About Me:
I have recently finished my university studies and I am now a qualified primary school teacher, but I hold a secret desire to photograph some of the greatest musical talent of our time. I am also on a mission to change the bad image of youth and highlight the wonderful, talented, caring and amazing things young people do everyday that are never noticed.
Interests:
Photography and anything to do with it, art, looking for beauty in this crazy, crazy world, listening to music (my iPod is my boyfriend!), cooking and entertaining for friends and family, collecting cocktail recipes, sewing (I am a bit of a nana but I have started creating my own t-shirts). I also love adding to my ever growing CD collection, collecting buddhas and looking at peoples tattoos: I have a little bit of a sick obession with them - I blame Kat Von D, I adore that girl!
Favorite Music:
Kings of Leon, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance, The Academy Is..., The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Dashboard Confessional, The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Saosin, Mansions, Cobra Starship, Death Cab for Cutie Taking Back Sunday, Cute Is What We Aim For, Augustana, John Mayer, Stevie Nicks, The Getaway Plan, Panic! At The Disco, Queen, The Beatles
Favorite Movies:
Breakfast at Tiffany's, Almost Famous, Garden State, The Breakfast Club, Juno
Favorite TV Shows:
I love crappy reality TV! Does that make me sad?!? I don't really watch a lot of television.
Favorite Books:
Love Is A Mixed Tape - Rob Sheffield, I essentially love biographies - nothing is more interesting than real life!, And also the Twilight series - like everyone other woman who has read them, I have a crush on Edward Cullen :)
Now he's in junior high, and has become a geek like me, but still loves the big equipment that we occasionally see here.
It's the tire size as you're standing next to it that makes that John Deere look larger than it normally might if it was alone. And it's a great photo!
